I Am A Handyman!
 

waited peobally a year for my handyman to put a tile floor in at the entranceway to my house. it's a 6X12 area - so with my brother in town we took 2 half days and did it ourselves.

now for two people who don't know what the fuck a hammer is used for other then smashing open walnuts this is a major event.

we did reading and then attacked it - toar out the rug (yucky thing) - then removed doors and all mouldings. - installed additional plywood subfloor , cut all times- glued in all times - grouted all tiles - washed grout - then sealed grout - then put all back together.

very impressed. may even post pics tomorrow of it. first time i did anything by myself and it turned out. I'm the thype to always hire someone else but I just wanted to have SOMETHING in this house that I did myself so this counts!.


i'm feeling very smug and manly now.

same guy that was building the wood thingy on the side last year?

that was him - he did great work but he took off to edmonton for better wages for 4 months
