If you push the webmaster referral you're mostly wasting your time -- very few webmasters are going to push 20 signups -- 99% of all webmaster referalls push less than 10 signups before they quit... Am I right?

No, you're absolutely right. How many will actually get one sign-up? Heh.

Yeah... same thing with Nasty Dollars whose terms say there must be eight joins before they pay a referral fee, but it is still heavily spammed. So many desperate webmasters out there that would do anything for a buck. At a guess I'd say most of the people spamming the webmaster referrals on boards, in confirmation emails, etc, don't actually use the program themselves. Soon as they hear "$100", everything else flies out of the window. Shall we say... they get a little "excited".
