Anybody good with Excel? I have a data validation question
yo
i dont want the field to have more than 55 characters. my xls file has already 6000 lines of data , i want to limit and format exisitng data in a column so that it dont exceed 55 characters. how i do this? BTW: i just pleasured myself |
not sure if this is what you mean, but if you put in the cell to the right of it
=len(**CELL**) then to the right of that cell =IF(**CELL WITH LEN FN**<55,**ORIGINAL CELL**," ") then it will only display cells that have less than 55 characters im goign to buy a new chair at staples, ill be on later if you need some help edit: make sure to remove the **'s |
