I think yes, a bit part of fat people is disgusted with themselves but a few "not fat" people likes fat people.

I don't really agree with the self respect/self-esteem thing though. I'm a chubby dude and I have/had plenty of self esteem and self respect even before I started losing weight.

I'm not into the really big women, but I would much rather be with a girl that has a bit of meat on her bones than some skinny girl that looks like she is going to break when I touch her.

I love hugging fat people. I'm not much of a hugger, usually it makes me uncomfortable to be so close to a person (except hubby and mom), but there's just something about fat people that makes me want to wrap my arms around them and bury my face in their softness...

Oh, and don't even get me started with men's bellies!

I can only presume you've never seen Jerry Springer and shows of that ilk.. cos I've seen PLENTY of larger women on those shows who have NO shame, NO disgust and they're quite happy to share their flesh with everyone! (even if you don't want them to)

I think it depends on the individual. There are fat people I know that are very confident with themselves.

Fat people with confidence is like a queer in the closet. They act like there is nothing wrong yet in all reality their life is in deep turmoil. Have you seen some of the fat bastards here? Do you think these fat bastards get laid like they claim they do? They will say the contrary but those of us that can actually physically see our cocks know otherwise. :1orglaugh

fat chicks for instance, when you go out and you say to a fat chick politely to move a few steps away (because her sweating fat rolls are starting to stink), they instantly go in attack mode because of the lack of confidence they have. And there you have it: at first she was gross just cause of her sweaty fatness, but she's now a YELLING sweaty fat bitch - man's worst nightmare.
