Marketing Design Businesses

Alright all you professional business men and women, I want some advice on Design marketing. I just started an aldult side to my mainstream design company, and I have had good response from everyone already using our services (www.liquidbydesign.com)

My questions:

1. What is the best way to market design do you think in this medium?

2. Is it worth taking out advertisments in like KLIXXX and AVN?

3. Would it be worth trying to purchase webmaster mailing lists? or E-mailing larger paysite owners?

4. Running great specials and announcing them on boards (but then you get murdered for spamming)

Any suggestions or ideas would be great. I am frustrated with the advertising part of this mostly so any advise would be great.

Thanks in advance for your help....

you could always spam a board with your site asking how to advertise it.. i hear that works well..

Talk alot of smack about any damn subject of your choosing, and let your work do the real talking.

Only if #1 fails.

Most likely not... but hey.... it couldn't hurt.

Fuck *specials*.... refer to answer #1. If you wanna do "specials", make the deals with you prospective clients.. not on a public board where you'll only get hammered for it anyway. Your clients will take care of the word of mouth factor for you if you deliver.

The best advertising, believe it or not, is to NOT advertise..... it takes a little longer, but if you've grasped my drift here.... you'll understand the path. It's not easy, but I am living proof that it works.

Best of luck.... grasshopper. :smokin
