Update on my Casino Win and Interesting info On Epassporte.
 
Some may remember that I won $10,000 at an online casino a few days ago.

Well the money has been put in my casino account again - and I can draw the money out. They said it was a computer glitch.

OK - So I have to draw it on Epass as thats how I put the funds in. Epass refused to take the money and put it my account 2 days ago and again yesterday.

The phone lines at Epass said that they had comunication problems and couldnt take calls - if they had problems with the lines how come I could get an answer machine?

A few hours ago I get through and they say that they no longer deal with the casino - The casino is PokerRoom.com! - They have closed the account.

I phone PokerRoom and they say they didnt even know about this, I had to tell them that thier account was closed!! WTF???

I am guessing that ePass are now not dealing with ANY gambling sites.

So if you have money in a gambling account you are going to have issues getting it out. This isnt just US either i am in the UK.

PokerRoom suggest using Neteller - I do not have an account with them and also the owners have just been arrested.... I really dont want to trust 10k with them.

What a fucking pain in athe ass!!

I cant believe that Epass did not even tell PokerRoom (SafePay) they have closed their account!

So I am bit fucked at the moment - I will speak to PokerRoom in the mornning - if it isnt sorted by the weekend I am going to start getting stroppy.....

Call forwarding fixed to a voice mail. That way the epass building could have blown off the face of the earth, and you would still be able to get a message from them. How do you know you got an answering machine?

Just because some rep on the phone told you this does not mean it is fact.

I had problems with Pokerroom as well...That was about 6 months ago, I never returned.

Can't say anything about Epass Sambo, but considering this is fundamentally a US-based activity (despite the offshore structure) - it may be wise to avoid passing gaming funds to them.

The US issue with Neteller (and most of the global gaming industry) has nothing to do with you - you are totally legal. Neteller is functioning fine, despite two ex-directors happened to get arrested in the US recently. You are in the UK, so seriously suggest you create an account with Neteller and have your winnings transferred there and avoid all contact with any money movers who are US based or associated with the US, where they can fall under US laws.

I may just have to do that....

Of course I may run into issues because I only have NZ accounts still - I never bothered with a UK one as my bills are all in NZ and I happily use Epass most of the time wen I am here.

Baddog - The problem is I have got 3 different stories from each of the companies - thats 9 possible scenarios.

I'm just making educated guesses from the stories I am being given, and what I already know about the companies.

After what US authorities did to Neteller, that was exactly my first thought too.

So there are no misunderstandings - after another 5 conversations it seems that they have canceled 'Safepays' account.

Safepay own pokerroom.com and about 20 other betting sites - I do not know if this is about 'sportsbetting' or not.
