Trade script question...Which one?
 

Which one to use in combination with smart thumbs? UCJ(I always used this one...Is it still okay? or is it 'dead') TM3, ATX, or anything else that is even better?

Sloth Trader is the best script in my opinion... It doesn't have a million features like most of the others but it has all of the features you need to grow a quality site and it has the best feature ever... it works like it should.

I have several copies of ATX and I love it. Can't say i have tried anything else

I've had problems with TTT, and support was basically non-existent. Not only that, you're limited to trading with who they want you to trade with. I stay away from Nazi regimes.

Never tried sloth, might give that one a go on my next site.

Ahm.... nope??? I'm using TTT and I trade with who I want to trade with. Of course 1% of the traffic goes to choker because the script is free, but that's all. I'm definitely satisfied with the script, especially for being free.

Have to agree on the support thingy though!

TTT does it's job well.

UCJ is still solid, but rather rigid these days. TM3 is better, but you're still a sitting duck for cheaters, just like with UCJ. ATX has some great features that will help you detect cheaters easier, as does Trade Expert. I'd use one of the latter two.

I concur. I recently switched to Sloth Trader and I must say I'm impressed with it.

You don't trade with someone who has been blacklisted by findtrades. Which can happen for a reason as simple as the site using cjo. So, ahm... YES.

I hope nobody is actually trading with anyone using cjo. I personally don't support thieves but what you do with your traffic is your business I suppose.

Does sloth trader have a toplist feature?

I use UCJ and ATX.

Just recently changed most of my sites from UCJ to ATX mainly because of the multiple sites features it has running a network of sites.

So far I have had positive results with ATX

Currently using ATX but heard good things about Trade Expert

I am using Smart Traffic trader...and it works very nicely!!

I used cjo on one of my sites, and it wasn't until I had about 40 active trades and was blacklisted on findtrades that I found out about the drama. The makers of TTT did nothing to help me stop using it, they simply blacklisted me until I removed it from the site. Which involved manually entering the trades into a new database. Sure, the whole process only took me 45 minutes to set up a new script and manually transfer the trades, but honestly - why should I have had to do that? I did not know I was using a stolen script at the time, I was an innocent victim.

The chicken crew did not punish the CJO people in that case, they punished me. How hard would it be for them to make a script to make it easier for people to migrate away from cjo, since it's so important to them? Not too hard, but their attitude is "fuck you if you didn't know, too bad". I find that kind of attitude deplorable, and I will refuse to do business with anyone who fucks innocent victims.

While I feel for you and I totally understand your position, you should also be aware that not knowing the law isn't an excuse for breaking it. CJO is a blatant rip-off of TTT and while it's proved to be extremely difficult to LEGALLY do something about it (as with 90% of the rip-offs in this industry) that still doesn't mean that people should be encouraged to use it.
