Hi gang, meet Catalina Cruz

I met her back in 2001 when I worked for Penthouse Photographer J. Stephen Hicks. She came in to the office and I did a few "test shots" of her so Stephen could forward them to his clients to get approval to shoot her. Never in a million years did I ever think that I would one day be in a position to photograph her myself so when I got the call from Fantasy Girl Revenue to shoot her - of course I jumped on it!

She has to be one of the nicest and sweetest girls in the industry and certainly easy on the eyes. She flew in early Monday morning exclusively to shoot with me and my team and then flew home that evening right after the shoot. I'm sure it was a long long day for her but she never gave less than 110% the whole day. It's girls like Catalina that make my day less stressful and more fun! Catalina - we loved working with you and look forward to doing it again soom!!!

I have to agree. Catalina and the staff at FGR are first class individuals. Major props out to Catalina and women who dedicated their time to support the Breast Cancer Booth at AVN. I still have my autographed Catalina Cruz Boobie :)

Dean, i love your work so please don't take this the wrong way... I just want to know how all the girls you shoot could be the sweetest and nicest girls in the industry...

For example, I saw Amy Reid accepting her awards at the AVNs and I was only struck by how not sweet and nice she appeared to be. (not to mention seeming to be completely lit)

What happens? Do their heads swell up and their personalities go to hell after the honor of shooting with you or what?

She is beautiful and the pics taken are very nice indeed.

-Well, not all of the girls that I shoot are the sweetest and nicest girls in the industry. I have shot some very difficult girls but I just choose not to discuss it publicly. However, most of the girls that I shoot are some of the sweetest and nicest girls in the industry. Maybe I've just been lucky, maybe it's mutual respect...I don't know. But very seldom do I have any issues with the girls that I've shot. Plus, I don't post pictures here of "all" the girls that I shoot. I only post the *hottest* girls, the nicest and the sweetest girls and the girls that were a true pleasure to work with. :thumbsup

-Regarding Amy, I've shot her many many times and every time I've worked with her she has been a total sweetheart. She's always been kind, generous and ready to do anything necessary to produce the best work. She's always on time, prepared and ready for action. No complaining, no bitching and no drama. She's one of the nicest girls I've ever worked with and I'd shoot her again in a heartbeat. Maybe she was having a bad day at the AVN awards? Maybe someone pissed her off? Who really knows? Who really cares?

Mention Dean's name to any of the girls he has worked with and they will always break a smile. I think many of these girls so rarely see such good results combined with a photographer who is great to work with that they tend to show up on Dean's set with a good attitude and ready to give their best.

Often these girls show up and the quality of productions/photos are low and
the people not so professional.
