Vancouver power out again
 

I've had it. This is the SIXTH power outage at our downtown Vancouver datacenter since we opened it two months ago.

These guys told us that they've never had a power outage before, and now six in two months. Ahhh.

This was the only place in Vancouver that could hook us up with Cogent bandwidth.

Anyone got any suggestions for another colo host here? We already have datacenters in Toronto and Phoenix, and this one needs to be local to Vancouver, BC.

my powers on, but i live near the dam...

I live right downtown and I haven't had my power go out ever.

i may suspect because of all the wind and crazy weather going on?
i had my power knocked out 4 times in the last 2 months
sometimes acouple hours sometimes 2 days

BC weather is getting crazy

Umm if they don't have back up generators why even bother hosting there?
