ICQ start bar button annoyance.
 

In the old version of ICQ the flower just sat in the taskbar and when you clicked on it ICQ popped up.

But now in the new ICQ they added a stupid button that sites on the start bar where IE and all open programs are with the flower icon and your UIN. it's freakin stupid it has no purpose. It only goes away when you manually click the minimize button on the ICQ. Anyone know how to make this go away for ever?

Tried format c:/ didn't work.

The stupidest thing about new version is that the X no longer closes the fucking program.

when ICQ is minimized all is good, i just see the flower on the taskbar. But when i double click the flower to show my contact list the stupid ICQ program bar or whatever is called shows up on the start menu bar (where all running programs usually are) but it just worthlessly takes up space and the old version didn't do it!

Not sure but I think you might be talking about being in Advance Mode.

m0rph3us, you must be using 2002a built 3722, or earlier (I expirienced similar problems .. and yes, it´s annoying) ... you will have to upgrade to another version ... best thing to do is look for built 3727, because there is a working add remover already. the latest (built 3728) has no working banner remover yet ...
