Those security guards clearly broke the law. They have to understand, in public places, they are not the law, and people have the right to stand and film whatever they want. I would have sued, and I hope they sue jessica simpson since that's who they are working for.

Most mall security people are deputized by the state they work in so uhh you are WAY wrong. They are legitimate police officers and can use legal force to remove or detain potential theatening people.

Deputized dont even matter.
I worked as a bouncer and the law was clear.
If I told someone to back away from the door or leave and they didn't then they were tresspassing. I could use force to remove them from the property. The cops backed me up 100% every time.

If the bouncer/security says move then anyone not moving is a stupid motherfucker because they will lose.


And people need to think more. I would tell people to move because of a fire hazzard. If they didn't move and a fire killed people, I would see to it that the motherfuckers went to jail for the liability.

Anyone can be escorted off private property for whatever reason. If they resist, they can be arrested at that point without any verbal warnings.

Those fucking photographers should not get so close to anyone, famous or not fuck them..they should have a legal distance of 25 feet or something..

security guards have a right to arrest people. If i was in a mall, and someone wanted to take pictures of me.. i'd be pissed enough to take the camera, and break his face. If i was worth millions and millions.. i would get the mall security cops to do it. I think it would be deemed "harrassment" in the mall, and they have every right to arrest them.

A mall isn't public property unless the city owns it. A security guard employed by a property owner has the right to ask anyone to leave. If they do not do it, they can be legally detained until real cops arrive to arrest them for criminal trespassing. That's the way it works here anyway.
