How does craigslist make money?
I don't see any ads or fees.
Maybe Craig don't care about money, he just likes doing this. |
The only source of revenue generated by Craigslist is the Job ads. And if I'm not mistaken, they only charge job ad fees in the major cities. Last time I read about it, the site makes around 20 million a year from those ads alone. I think it's only a matter of time before it goes downhill and sells out because Craig's partner in the site got mad at him a few years back and sold his 25% of the company to Ebay.
