Like some of the previous posts noted, Porsche has design and patent profits from other car builders and industries. They helped design Harley Davidson's VR series, every VW made gives Porsche profits, etc.

Take these profits and divide by the relatively few cars sold gives you a figure that's ridicules.

Remember when Mercedes came out with the 300E "Hammer" 0-60 in 5 seconds sedan. Those cars were transported to a Porsche factory in stock form. Porsche then stripped the cars down and replaced the motors, suspension, brakes, wider body panels, seats, etc .......
