I'm Getting the After-Vegas Cold
 

It happens to at least half of us I swear ...

But after ten days in Sin City, I guess it's kinda asking for it.

10 is extreme. My week has been fucked up, 5 days in vegas which was cold, 2 days in utah for skiing which was freezing, then back to miami which is hot as hell. My body has shutdown.

Yup my chest hurts and i have a soar throat, this SUCKS

For the first time in years, I've come back from a show without even a sniffle.

I was sick in bed all weekend :(
still feeling crappy today. Sore throat is the worst.

I'm over my sore throat and now just have the sniffles. I knew I'd get it this time.

I pump up with vitamins, airborne, wheatgrass shots, etc. when in before, during and after vegas trips. everyone gets sick after staying there. the smoke though still kills me.

I couldn't find my wheatgrass the entire time I was in Vegas ... I was kinda pissed.

The mixture of food, tons of alcohol and lack of sleep just mess with my body too much.

I had to go to the doctor on Saturday. I knew I had an infection of some kind in the throat and my Lungs. Feeling better since the Anti Biotic is starting to kick in....

Vegas was my first show....i heard rumours about this post vegas sickness...and i swear, 5 hours after i landed back in Toronto...i was feelin it already. I've been sleeping off and on for days now and am still feelin the sore throat, sniffles, and overall aches...but there's plenty of work to be done, so we all gotta push through! Get well soon to everyone! Vegas was still worth it...Python Team gave away $10 000 and free T's!!

cooties here too, throat is killing me and the cough is not so attractive either. it was worth it though :winkwink: long as i am better for Xbiz it's all good!

the drier air out in vegas messes people up ... then add in no sleep, alcohol, and whatever else... good luck :)

I've been sick since the day I came home (Thursday). I was in Vegas for 9 days though. So imagine what 9 days of partying did to my Immune system.

im sick as a dog here...i might have been fine...but then i went snowboarding the day after getting back..by the end of the night i was feeling ill

I swear it happens every damn time!

I am feeling good after a weekend of laying low.

That usually happens to me, too.

I always ended up fucked about a week after returning from Vegas.

Worth it though... :winkwink:

I went one better this time...got food poisoning on a $250 meal...and THEN got the convention crud after I got home.
Not the two for one I had in mind.... :helpme

A couple of others I know got food poisoning, but I also know that a nasty stomach flu was going around that mimicked food poisoning pretty well.

Either way ... not a fun way to spend your time in Vegas.

I guess locals get the cold too. I was fine for a day or two then Bam! Down for the count. I really think that it has to do with the 10 days of debauchery at AVN & Internext. Also, not getting much sleep, drinking like a fish and being inside for days breathing in all the recirculated air of thousands of other people does not help.

I hope that we all feel well soon because this sucks!
