how do you spend $1300 on 7 people in Vegas?
 

I'm heading there in February, with 6 other people. We have a community pool of $1300, what should we do with it?

I don't know where you're drinking at, but 7 people going "out" in Vegas for a night can easily spend double that. I suppose if you choose your bars/clubs carefully(and stay out of anything on the "top floor"...lol), you could do it.

I hate to inform you, but $1300 in Vegas is not alot in that town for one person, let alone 7...Really though it depends on your vices

haha, dude - I know. about 6 months ago 13 people RSVP'd with $100 each. 7 dropped out, so the remainder of us have to spend it somehow. It's a community fund, has nothing to do with anyone's personal spending cash while we're there.

So my question is not "Is 1300 enough to have fun" - my question is "wtf do we do with this money?"

play a lot of low dollar let it ride or pai gow.. great for free drinks and then dont tip anyone.

look for food specials they are everywhere..you can do it no problem..

Watch the big roller tables , and bet with someone else watching the person will lose.. start them off low with a few $200 bets betting they will win , and let him win a few then go for a grand to lose :)

p.s. if you lose refuse to pay , say "oh shit left the cash in the car" , the casino isnt going to enforce an illegal private side bet.

PS: that being said, ive never been to vegas. personally id probably go the dinner route. eating well is always fun :]

Have a few meals together out

You can rent a Hummer and take a drive out to Red Rocks and the area
You'll all fit, it'll cost ~$300, be a blast (Lake Meade, Hoover Dam, etc.)
Still have a grand left, which is 1,000 pulls on the dollar slots :thumbsup

You have two choices here in my opinion.

Either put it all on black as many have suggested.

Or head to the bar, put in 5 bucks at a time on the poker machine and get smashed on free liquor. Will cost you about $8 with tips and losses but you can get atleast $50 worth of drinks each time (depending how slow you play and how fast you drink). Do this throughout the trip and you'll be too drunk to do anything else with the money.

I've never been to veags before, but say you goto a decent club or show what are you expecting to spend to get in etc? I mean whats a bottle of beer or captain/coke cost? I'm not talking about buying bottles of cristal or anything.

You guys make it sound like the money paid in Vegas (i.e Vegas lifestyle prices) are worth it compared to top capitals of the world, I mean its like if you guys are proud everything costs an arm and leg in it...
