Freeezinebucks
I heard freeezinebucks shaves big time, counting 1/10 to 1/15 actual signups. Anyone know if this is true? Whats yer experience?

You have them confused with cybererotica maybee?
300 submitted, 85 confirmed |

In fact Freeezinebucks works not too bad for me... and I'm not really asking if its a good program or how it compares.
What I'm looking for is whether for 1 email they credit me for, are there 10 others they are simply not showing in the stats. The confirmed/submitted ratio doesn't show so I wouldn't know. I have a 1:33 ration on signups/clicks though. |
I hate to burst the "shaving" allegations,
but double opt-ins get A LOT of flakes. I have a mainstream double-optin list --targeted traffic-- 20% of the emails are invalid. This is without pop-up hells to induce sign-ups. Just something to think about. |

I dont know if they shave, but I do know that the ratios can wildly switch. IE 1:13 for 5 days in a row, then suddenly 1:40 for 5 days in a row, exact same traffic.
Still a great program regardless, they shave less then any other email program if they shave at all. |
You should think about it or it's worth to advertise such a program. They can also pay you 20 ct per email and don't shave. it would make you the same amount of money. Ask yourself or you are happy with the amount of money you make and shut your mouth.

shaving is cheating and illegal. you're entering into a contract to send traffic at x amount per sign up, not x amount every 2nd sign up or whatever.
|
I really dont think they shave. I still have a 1:4 ratio since I started promoting them in April which doesnt leave much room for shaving.

One Question people forget is: Do their confirmation emails get past junk mail filters? Very important in AOL etc. Anyway FEB works well for me.
I think the only shaving that occurs is when people rip the Query string from the URL. This sometimes happens if they re paranoid feel they are being tracked somehow. Not much to do about that if they do it after they get to the site and they do a [Go] on the address without your affiliate id. |
I would doubt that FEB shaves, the guys who run it are straight up!
|
Cool gys. Thanks for those answers. On the whole I figure we would need to have an "insider" to know if they are shaving. But anyway from waht I've seen here it looks pretty good. I'll stick with them for now.
Cheers:drinkup |
As much as I Like FEB and the guys there, if you have any doubts you can always do a trial run switch for a few days. That's the beauty of having choices. But I think You'll come back to FEB in the end

For the life of me I can't undertsand why freezine or ce use this on the join page. I can see that to pay £1/$1.50 they need to squeeze as much out as possible but preventing people joining by hitting them with that shit seems counter-productive. However, that said if they don't confirm, the programs still have the e-mail address but don't have to pay on it... Shaving? - I doubt and if so it's small. But the system is designed not to encourage people to confirm. Certainly the original post saying you only get 10% of joins credited is luidcrous. Out of the 2 Ezine performs better and I'm starting to push them a little more (CE just seems to have far too low ratios even taking into account the upsell payouts) as they make money which at the end of the day is more important than anything else. |
