Not sure whether its true, but it's an interesting opinion anyways.

interesting read - out like that, yeah it looks like Google are trying to become a major ISP: ADSL/Telephone/Television. Don't know if those type of ISPs exist in the US, but they are exploding in continental Europe. Looks like a good market to spread into.

google is one of the most strong companies out there now..
If this is their goal they will strive to be good at this.
