no i just been working too much and missed it in theaters. just got it on tape

Been meaning to get it out on DVD for ages and keep forgetting. I was a bit uncertain at first as I am a HUGE FF game fan but after seeing the trailers I think its a must. Nice to hear from someone who's opinion I respect (DJ:thumbsup ) that it is worth renting.

to bad it doesnt have donkeycrap to do with ANY of the games...

my kid is nuts for that game. i only played the old nintendo version in between zelda releases.

i really enjoyed the movie.

i had heard reviews describing it as slow and hard to follow. instead, i found the film to be visually hypnotic and the storyline inventive.

from what i heard, the movies sometimes come out in Russian TV before they do in theaters here.. i'm not joking..

I agree.
The movie was a big let down because it was called 'Final Fantasy' and was sooo unrelated the theme of the games.

If the wasn't called Final Fantasy I might have enjoyed it.

I disagree! The movie was the typical final fantasy love plot. Every single FF game has revolved around love, and the movie was no different.

And toodamnfli, it's the same with the games. They're all unrelated, and set on entirely different worlds. But basically, they're all similar in two ways. It's always about love, and the obligatory saving the world. :winkwink:

looked cool - but I wouldn't call it great

Not a good movie but nice CG.

I have it on dvd but it's still in the plastic-seal ;)
