previous restore point. I had a problem with beta ie7 and was able to restore back to ie6 painlessly.

You clicked Restore my computer to an earlier time and it didn't work? IE7 creates a restore point during install just for that reason.

go to admin tools, in the start menu, then to add/remove programs. When it uninstalls it will automatically wind back to the last version. I did same, IE7 sux arse!!!!!

If I go via control panel add/remove & remove it this way, will all be back as it was?

this is not about prbablies man, yes spacedog, go to admin tools, add/remove programmes, then it will update the list, then scroll down till you find ie7, then check remove programme, then it return you. know from exp.

The beta install of ie7 didn't. Restore point is the safe way to do it and there is no reason it wouldn't work.

I'd be careful doing remove program on ie since it's so integrated into the os. Again restore point is the safest way.

HAHA maybe Windows is getting better than I give credit for. :1orglaugh Glad you got it fixed.

wyldworx 01-20-2007 01:36 AM

No problem spacedog.

woj 01-20-2007 01:44 AM

one minor problem is that IE6 is no longer supported? so no security bugs are not getting fixed?
