Do *you* belive in UFO's?
Do you? Why?
I do. |
Me too, its too big to be alone ...
|
If we're alone in the universe is sure is a big waste of space.

aren't you just the witty one!... we were made by planets colliding at the right time, that had to have happened somewhere else... and if the common sense lacking people on Earth can fly out there,I'm sure "they" fly in here :) |
UFO is a term, it's not whether you believe it or not... :)

There was a buzzing noise that entered my body. 7/1/02 X ahaha umm that wasnt a UFO girl.... hahaha |
I believe for certain there is other life out there, most likely as intelligent as us if not more, however, i have a hard time believing any of the UFO reports that float around
|
UFO's don't don't need to be believed in, they simply are. What I don't get is how someones faliure to identify a flying object contributes to the likelihood that it was being piloted by little green men.
The fact that the someone in question is usually as qualified to identify the causes of exotic atmospheric phenomena by sight as I am at translating sumerian cuneiform by touch adds to the credibility problem. |
ufos rank right up there with Elvis sightings!

When my oldest son was still a kid, we were out fishing late one night when we spotted a light in the sky traveling at a tremendous rate of speed (to fast for an aircraft) and it was traveling horizontally. Because it appeared to be traveling perfectly horizontal across the sky I doubt that it was a meteor. Thus, my son and I saw a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object), but I do not believe that we are being visited by aliens. An extraordinary claim requires extraordinary proof and that kind of proof that we are being visited by aliens is non existent. |
Dude, I'm still trying to find intelligent life on Earth. Fuck if I care that it's anywhere else in the universe.
|
I answered 'No' to the poll but only because the average person's perception of a UFO is incorrect.
As others above have said, UFO's exist. They are unidentifiable atmospheric phenomena. They happen all the time and are seen by all kinds of people in all sorts of places. UFO's in the sense of 'alien spacecraft' I doubt the existence of quite seriously. I DO believe there is other life in the universe. Space is too big for Earth to be the only populated planet. Regardless of this, I doubt that any alien species that would have the capability of space travel in the extreme that would be needed to visit other planets (like Earth) would bother to pick up rednecks and cows just to 'probe' them. Any species with the technology to get as far as Earth in a 'spaceship' would also have technology to scan Earth from space, see what a shithole it is and fly off again. So yes, UFO's exist but visitations from little green men do not. |
no.
|
UFO's yes, green men no so I answered no.
Other life on other planets, yes. People(green men?) potentially spending many years (decades/centuries?) flying here to fuck about giving the odd glimpse of the craft without dropping in to say Hi, no. You just gotta look at it logically. |
I imagine that *bowl* Fletch is very familiar with little green men.
|
Yes i do
I have seen one. WE hade ate a bunch of shrooms 5 hours before out in the San Diego desert but i fucking saw one man :) and NO im not kidding :winkwink: |

Is a UFO still a UFO once you determined it's a UFO.....?

A UFO is an unidentifiable atmospheric phenomenon not an alien spacecraft. So even if you see a UFO and can identify it as a UFO it remains 'unidentified'. IF by any chance an astronomer, meteorologist, or other scientist can indentify what sort of atmostpheric phenomenon the UFO is, THEN and only THEN does it cease to be a UFO and becomes whatever it is identifed to be. This seems to be fairly obvious logic to me but I suppose some people might have trouble following it. I won't repeat myself again, I'm off to bed. Keep watching the skies. You'll never see an alien but keep watching anyway. |

A UFO is an Unidentifiable Flying Object, not neccessarily an atmospheric phenomenon. If it flies, and it cannot be indentified by ANYONE (not just astronomers, meteorologists or other scientists) then it is a UFO. There are far too many reports by creditable observers for this matter to be dismissed. Little green men? Possibly, possibly not. There are many reports of "solid" objects (not just atmospheric phenomenon) showing signs of intelligent control (ie not just falling) being observed visually by people on the ground, in the air and tracked by radar simultaneously. Atmospheric anomalies do not fly alongside aircraft for 30 minutes then accelerate to mach 20 whilst being observed by airline pilots flying 747's at the time. The question is - are they controlled by little green men, foreign governments, or local governments? |
hey beastiepoo, icq me 1337988

I just saw a little green man run in and out of my office!
Or could it be that I have been without sleep for so long? |

yes i believe.
i also bleed green |
Yes.
But I don't believe they are visiting us every day, so I believe all reports of sightings are false. I believe it is possible, however. |
