what's the most you'd offer a girl to model for a solo girl site if you thought she was top notch, easily in the top 10% of solo girl models?

id start at the top and drop it 10% for every tattoo she had

youre waiting till someones gonna post X % of the nett revenue rite

I think the most I would offer for a one time shoot (for enough content for a few years) is like $10K

no idea if she would want or be interactive but the more i see of this interactivity stuff i see the double edged sword it is and how many sites do great without it - Tawnee, Jordan, Kari, Selena Spice, Karla Spice, Andi Pink, Alison Angel, Lia19 - i'm all for them being involved if they want to but it's the faces and bodies that sell.

so i'm just saying you have a girl you have alot of confidence is a girl that is a top tier girl and she doesn't seem very interested in doing a site but you know that money talks - how high would u go in cash upfront for a girl like that? 20K? 30K? 50K? 75K? 100K?

As much as it takes to get her to shoot and yeild a decent return on your investement. Who knows what top sites make? I'd want my cash back in 1-4 months max and the rest should be profit.

ha - my biz partner fainted when i told him what I offered this girl - BUT it worked. obviously we are going to get a good test shoot with her before so it's not as much of a risk. maybe i'm wrong about her but i don't think so - i'll post test shots if everything works out in a month.

The big question would be, would she be a draw to get member. Just a pretty face isnt enough anymore

can't know that though until she's been shot - that's always a risk. i'm sure there have been many girls people thought were going to be stars and for some reason didn't do well and girls who are the opposite that people wonder how come she does so well.

Mmmm.. for the top 10% of models, that suggests there is pulling power - but hard to say all girls at the top have pulling power - they sure don't.

How much? Forget how much you may think she is worth - instead, what is the project worth on a spreadsheet and can $X be viable to pay a model if she has signup appeal - then the gamble starts when the acid test time arrives to see if she actually has appeal reflected in signups...

Others may think differently, but suggest dump any ideas of percentages of profits - tho whatever the deal, both parties need to earn fairly.

Another angle is whether the girl already has a successful modeling track record and a fan following, which suggests three things - (a) she is tolerable to shoot and (b) has some appeal else there would be no "fans" and (c) her fan-appeal may help with revenue generation. There are plenty girls who are relatively successful and keen to have someone take them on. We have only worked with girls who have reasonable track records and fan following, and who can demonstrate continuity for ongoing shoots/updating. Newcomers really need to be proven, else the webmaster carries all the risk of wasting time and money on em. Cute fluttering eyelashes only go so far :)

Newcomers are what the solo girl teen niche is all based on. They are all a risk and 75% of them are pure headaches - you have to just accept that.
there's no way of predicting accurately how a girl will do other than a few who just stand out. i hear people say put them in a members area of a multi model site and see what the reaction is - this does sound like a pretty good idea but i still think you could go into a site like ATK and poll their members for their favorite models and it wouldn't much improve the accuracy of forecasting how those girls might do with a solo site.

a solo model is only worth the last shoot. you can never guarantee she will be a part of the site, promote it etc. in fact, the only certainty in that area of the biz is that she will eventually flake.

give her a %?... i laugh when people say that. thats just naive. why would you partner with someone who is part of a group of people who are well known to be the worst possible partners?
