3 problems with the IPhone (according to me)

Such a revolutionary phone should at least have

- EVDO instead of EDGE
- GPS

and better battery life if you ask me

Im pretty sure it has GPS. No?

i think they will release better batteries and make more money later down the line.

Maps can seriously do that? Like printed out maps? I mean most maps I have used are rather hard to pinpoint exact restaurants on... what kind of maps do you use? Kryptonian super maps with psionic projections?

Yeah, I see now that it has google maps (somehow skipped that). Hmmm... let's see.... maybe you need GPS to spy on your loved ones? Let's go with that! Maps can't do that :upsidedow

I am just a wee bit paranoid I guess. Hell I almost laughed myself out of my chair when I saw that other phone where you "know where your friends are at".

leming 01-19-2007 02:49 PM

ROFL, that one commercial with all the big fat dots hehehe? Yeah, I laughed my ass off on that one as well! "WHERE YOU AT". "I know where you're at, and you know where I'm at, so let's leave it at that". I guess it's for couples who really, really, REALLY don't trust each other. That and spy on their kids :Oh crap

Sosa 01-19-2007 02:51 PM

I'd love a phone/pda with a GPS. Or something that can tell me where to get to someplace when I'm traveling. Anyone know if there is an app for that on the Treo 700wx?

That would be it. Damn phone is gunna end up with a lot of injured, dead, or incarcerated users real soon. I just feel it.

borked 01-19-2007 02:57 PM

GPS woulda been a great feature - mid-range mobile GPS devices are around the price of the iPhone, and it has a big enough screen to handle it, so why not?

--edit I mean GPS satnav devices

VeriSexy 01-19-2007 03:34 PM

GPS would make the cost double

Daruma 01-19-2007 03:46 PM
