Where is the full quirky keyboard I keep hearing about. Why don't they ever show it?

I was psyched about this phone, till I found out its a completely closed platform and Apple wont be allowing anyone to make 3rd party applications for it.

They're going for tight vendor lock in. Any apps they do license any other companies to make I would imagine will only be available through iTunes for a fee.

Still cant wait to check out this phone.. but before I heard about the closed platform part there was nothing that would stop me from getting this thing.. now I'm probably not going to buy it.

Maybe I can get work to pay for one though.. we need to make sure Xobile is compatible =)

i got a lil ipod and thats the only apple thing ill have... i love the thing, but i just dont like the damn apple brand they act and do like they dont need anyone else... and i bet that phone is fucking full of bugs since they never made a phone before

I was considering getting a blackberry. Instead I think I'll wait until these come out and get one!

You'd be surprised. 10 years ago when I got my first mobile it was the size of a fucking brick, but it worked.

Nowdays the phones do everything but suck your cock, but the call clarity is very bad on some of them.... in the last 2 years I've sent back 3 phones because the bloody things just don't work properly.

Over priced? $500 for a cell phone is cheap these days... let alone one that plays movies and has a touch screen.
