3-letter PR6 domain if .com zone - how much would you buy it for?
A friend of mine has a extremely short 3-letter PR6 domain in the .com zone (chill out it's not a sex.com again LOL) So I wanted to do some small investigation here on how much would you buy it for. This domain could be good even for non-adult projects as well. Feel free to post your suggestions here, or contact me on ICQ: 166-924-423.

Depends on the letters I suppose
|
Is it a dictionary word or have a connotation like Huh.com ?
|
Let's say the letter have no meaning, i.e. it's not a word but something like cnn, bbc, msn etc - you can use it as an abbreviation for your own site name.
Hope this info is enough to start with. |
And don't forget it's an old domain name (about 10 y/o) with PR6.
|
How can someone appraise a domain name without even knowing it? The two things you told are good factors but can not be used for complete appraisal. Try posting domain name for better suggestion or price estimation.

so, it is something like dqj.com or zpr.com?

I can't name the domain right now. As I said - I want to estimate the interest to such a kind of domains. Actually the info I gave here is more than enough to see if you are interested in it or not. If I say something like "ncd.com" or "tkl.com" (both taken at random) form the would it be somehow different to you if you know it's not a word, it's in the .com zone, have PR6 and it's 10 years old?
If you are not interested or have no money even to buy a pack of cigarettes like DarkJedi - just skip this thread. P.S. If I won't find any interested person here, I'll post the domain to sedo.com and marketplacepro.moniker.com, so no problem with that. |
i love stupid domain name value estimation threads
either post the damn name you want evaluated or shut the fuck up if you can't post the name... easy solution... keep it to yourself and keep quiet |

Once again: I really can't name it right now. So please just give your rough estimate or skip this thread. |

The domain is worth somewhere between $10 and about 10 million. A three letter domain's value comes not only from current PR (which isn't exactly something that stays forever), but more from what those three letters are and what they may mean to a potential buyer.
So it is just one of those things. |

A 3 letter domain can cost anywhere from $500 to $100k Post the fucking name or go fuck yourself, retard. |
Pool routinely starts the bidding at 6K when they have 3 letter acronym domains.
You could check out Sedo.com and find out what the market is paying right now for a similar domain. For example: http://www.sedo.com/auction/auction_...artnerid=14460 |

You need to stop wasting everyone's time and learn some basic English instead. Now go cry while adjusting your turtleneck you faggot. |
according to little description .. i would say i would cost $500 - $1000 .. may be more, if its easy to speak (verbal) and have handful of backlinks to keep that PR6.
|
cyberxxx, IMHO: Most of the domains in that run have good PR, at least one of them is currently down with that PR. There is some potential here, because I can think of a number of things they could stand for.
5-10k start point for 3 letters... and there is no limit on the top end for the right person or company wanting to have it. |
