Ok, it's not news as Jon Stewart joked about it on the Daily Show awhile back (but I was away and only just saw the replay..)

Anyhow, I simply cannot fathom HOW a marketing/sales/whatever guy/girl in a suit walks into the Jimmy Dean boardroom and says "I've got a great idea for a new product"

... and the execs in the room, nod, maybe even try it out and agree to go to market.

In this day and age, with the US the most obese country in the world, after the movie "Super-Size Me", the battle against trans-fat ... somehow, they thought this would be a nice addition to the food aisle.

Of course, the reality is that people will buy it.

jesus.... thats something that you see and giggle at, because your first reaction is "obviously thats a joke... and its kinda funny"... then you think for a few seconds and realize it isn't a joke... then the sadness sets in.

Food stamps will cover the cost. And who knows, maybe they'll make a 'low fat' version.

Super Size me was a super sized load of shit. After all the multi-billion dollar lawsuits against fast food industry giants start happening (and it will happen, it is just a matter of time) I'm sure they'll put a little warning label on all fast food products.
