I was over at Daytona for the test session as the Nextel Cup teams get ready for the '07 season. Lots of interesting twists as Toyota joins the series and goes up against the once almighty Detroit automakers. F1 superstar Juan Pablo Montoya jumps ship and joins NASCAR bringing along a huge hispanic fan base and NASCAR will introduce a new COT ( car of tomorrow ) that is designed for better safety and better racing.

Exactly I live about 2 miles from the track and I can't bring myself to go watch NASCAR races. The best part is watching all the fans running around town dressed like the pit crews.

lol why on earth would people walk around in jackets advertising nextel radios or Tide laundry soap. I keep waiting to see some viagra jackets. :1orglaugh

Cool! Can't wait for the daytona 500 in feb. Toyota coming into the mix should make for some extra interesting racing this season :)

Just sucks that my local cable tv doesnt carry FOX in HD, so I have to use my antenna to watch it in HD.

I used to watch Nascar a few times, when I was a kid...I was always more interested in IndyCar...both are exciting though
