Auto Blogger Pro. Good for adult blogs?

Im hearing that its only good if you plan to run alot of blogs just using rss feeds. Im going to have 5-6 niche blogs to start, using both hand post and feeds. SHould I just do it but hand?

autoblogger pro is for rss fed blogs, it posts the rss feeds out to your blogs

so, if you plan to update them by hand it is pretty useless, i may be wrong though

Well It's not useless, I just set up a dummy blog and do the hand entries there and also fix up crappy feeds, then I just add the rss feeds from my dummy blog to ABPSA and everything gets distributed automatically.

Use feedwordpress. Autoblogger is useless for anyone but sploggers. Real, original content is king.

im curious about feedwordpress.. is it good? i would want something that i can manage 10+ or hundreds of blogs in one admin.. im using rss2anywhere but it is lack of features that i really need but still good.. im considering rss2blog to abpsa but my pocket is tight right now lol. i like rss2blog features esp. the blog mass installer. i still have a lot of stuff to read though :)

Well you can manage hundreds of blogs with one feedswordpress, just have a central blog with every feed you are using and your hand submissions, use a very detailed category structure. Then you have feedwordpress on every new blog importing category feeds from your central blog, so once its set up you don't actually have to think about that blog.

However I did find feedwordpress to be quite buggy so I got ABPSA.

Use it, if you are going to use any feeds. Saves you time. and time is money

I don't know what's wrong with having a ton of splogs on top of a couple orginal written by hand blogs. :2 cents:

splogs can make sales as well as be places to drive traffic to your nice blogs.

shiiiit.

I picked it up to start the year. ABP is certainly a very simple appearing product with some very interesting implications. At this point, I have been converting certain non-adult sites I own that were using feedwordpress to using ABP because of certain advantages in the long run.

Good luck with whatever you do :)

They can also be listed #1 in google for silly terms like preorder ps3 months before the ps3 launch. :) but yeah it's useless :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Thanks for the feed back.

donkevlar 01-18-2007 02:22 PM

I use it for both mainstream and adult stuff, and it's proving quite useful and timesaving. A lot of programs are coming out with new feeds, and they're slowly figuring out how the feeds should be, thanks to people like us bitching.

Think original content is king? Cool, it probably is. I have a few blogs with original posts that I don't use autoblogger on, and I send traffic from a handful of socalled "splogs" on free hosts. As soon as my sites get some good PR, I'll basically be able to only trade hardlinks with myself.

Many sponsors has "RSS FEEDS" that are nothing more than a nice list of galleries, often with nothing more than a link for an item. While it may be useful in some manner for filling in pages, it isn't useful for turning into blog posts. I really wish they wouldn't call those things RSS feeds, because they have no real content in them.

More sponsors are getting smarter and making blogs like OCCash ... it's all good :)
