What sucked worse: Lord of the Rings or Star Wars?

I saw the whole star wars series at different stages of my life and it won't be fair to compare the awe of a child watching the final Death Star chase scene to the awe of a grown adult watching LOTR's siege scenes in the Two Towers.

Both movies are amazing, I think. And you're right that these two titles are so much different, it's a waste of time comparing them to each other.

Lord Of The Rings...the battles. the music, fantastic photography...

Not to mention I've seen Star Wars a thousand times

i hate both movies. Ive seen some star wars flicks and they all fucking sucked. Ive seen only the first lord of the rings movie and it sucked. You either love it or you can't stand it, and I can't stand those kinda movies.

The acting in Star Wars episode I, II, and III was worse than terrible.

Worst movie ever: Napolean Dynamite.

Episodes 4 5 and 6 are good. The only good LOTR is the Two Towers.

I like Lord of the Rings I had read the book also..

They are completely different genres for the most part so comparing them is kinda pointless. That said I enjoyed the LOTR trilogy better than the episodes 1-3 of Star Wars, and I enjoy the original trilogy (4-6) of Star Wars better than the LOTR trilogy.
