We have a new site and DVD line coming out.. and we need a Logo design made for this...

This is a 24 hour contest beginning now and ending at 3:00 pm (PST ) on 1/18/07

Nice Etch-A-Sketch. You must have very skilled thumbs. But they probably have been softened up over time because of where they have been.

This one is heading into the right direction.. we may want to incorporate a characture type figure into the logo....

Your absolutely right.. and I apologize.. I wish I had more time on this one, and was hoping we would get something we could work with as quickly as possible.. ( I have a deadline for this DVD and need the logo ASAP ) perhaps a contest wasnt such a good idea.

You can't close a contest once you have some entries! That is just wrong

I will not comment on my design but I will say that all the other designs except one(which was joking around) are worth $200.00

I would use any of them on a product.

These contest are truly a waste of time if a winner is not chosen.

There is a lot of awesome work on this board for $200.

You should make a logo. The text would be interesting;

where its received about 20entries. So the ppl who submitted their entries on this forum weren't the only people competing. There were more people out there. I guess this fact wasn't made clear in the thread and many ppl wasted their time thinking they were the only one's competing.

just because you folks made a 15 minute design...doesn't make you entitled to "win"....personally, i think the etch-a-sketch design was the most creative out of all of the entries...:1orglaugh

Well, my design may suck to many people, I don't know; but I spent a WHOLE lot more time than 15 minutes.
I'm not entitled to win but I think somebody should be.

This was a "Contest with a prize" thread; not an "Hey show me some stuff and if I like something I will but it" thread.
There's a big difference.

No one would have the right to complain about a "non-winner" if it was not a "contest".

I will be selecting a winner from both contests.. we may or may not use one or the other, but rather take the overall concept of both and create a final logo that fits our needs..

I appreciate all the time and effort put in by those who submitted an entry, and not all contests end up with an entry that is used, but as stated in this thread.. A winner should always be selected as we have done.

Blazing thanks for choosing mine. I am quite a decent cartoonist as well and I have time this week to modify and upgrade the design. I would have already but I have been busy. So i'll hit you up and we can discuss what you need of me to do.

I agree this was a solid entry.. but I slected the one that works best for us, and gave the $50.00 to the Etch a Sketch primarily just to show that we werent running any type of smoke and mirror contest.. we are straight up with our integrity, and the consolation award to the Etch A Sketch was earned primarily for the creativity and 10 minutes of laughter he provided our office...
