And no, it sucks ass, but if you don't mind getting your car broken into, or being treated like shit, then its fine.

I live in Auckland, its the more depressing places in NZ to live. It's full of Asians, theres 1000's of them, you walk down queen street and they outnumber New Zealanders.

NZ is only good if you want to retire here and do sweet fuck all.

Auckland, it's the only decent sized city. (1.4 million). It's a nice enough city, has most of what you'd expect from a city of that size.

Wellington isn't too bad but the weather is shitty.

Christchurch I don't know too much about, but it's closer to a lot of the scenery at outdoors stuff in the south island

icq me if you have any more questions.. 739765

someone i know told me that the women in Napier and Hamilton are ultra hot.... iz that true?

JuiceMonkey 01-17-2007 04:01 PM

depends what you want.. but 100% you need to get a vacation house at the LEAST in queenstown, it is an expensive tourist trap. But for bars/nightlife snowboarding/fun etc.. it wins 100%

I've been to basically EVERY city/town/village on the south island, and by far queenstown was the most fun.
Christchurch was nice as well, and they have a good rugby team. Dunedin rounds out my top 3 (south isle only).

I do hear the north can be quite a bit warmer however, so you might want to keep that in mind.

Na, NZ girls are fucking ugly. My friend moved from America to live in New Zealand. After living here, he hates it pretty much. Everything is expensive, people are fucking useless, he pretty much NEVER seens hot woman.

He hates getting fast food because its not fast, and they fuckup the orders, and when you order a chicken burger the chicken paddy is smaller than the bun.

samsam 01-17-2007 04:21 PM

nautral cause, im curious do u benefit from the exemption on foreign source income?

Natural Cause 01-17-2007 04:22 PM

It depends what your standard are, if their low, then theres 1000's, if you look at hot woman in america, then look at nz, theres like... 1 or 2...

NZ is good for a holiday. Thats about it. You live here, and after a while, you don't understand why your here.

yes, I have to pay tax because I already live here. The policy is an incentive for rich mofos to move here.

Your comments suggest you've been to places. Oh well, I misjudged. Sounds like you have to get out of NZ for a change then for a reality check.

I want to move to Melbourne - Australia, I've been to Sydney too, but Sydney to me is like Auckland, just bigger and easier to get lost (walk into the mall, exit 5 blocks away in the middle of nowhere).

Rhesus 01-17-2007 04:46 PM

I found Australia a great place although that's not really what I suggested... If you're a webmaster unbound to a certain physical place, why don't you travel a bit? There's such a lot to see in the world...

Because im trying to save my money at the moment, buy a house and shove people in it so i can leave, and when i come back, i got something to move into :)

Trying to find something to make it big so i can tour the world. I wanna be able to have a fold up bike and a backpack, just roll on into the airport, and get on the next flight out of the country, no matter where it goes, and just be random, not thinking or planning where i go. I think that way i would get to see things i wouldn't see if i planned a trip.

I wanna go egypt and see the pyrimids, and i wanna go to mexico to see the aztec ruins.

sounds like a good plan :) Sounds like you just need a change of scenery, it does get dull (for me anyway) if you've been stuck in the same place for too long.

I'm leaving Auckland in a month to travel around south-east asia and then north america, can't wait.

Go to the mount.

Bake 01-17-2007 05:44 PM

Sydney

Half of NZ alleady live there

leedogg 01-17-2007 05:58 PM

I have lived in NZ all my life until recently
I'm now in Melbourne and making the most of hwat ife has to offer
Better climate, better lifestyle, better women

NZ is a beautiful place and property is cheap enough in mos areas. Just depends at what stage of your life you are at. It's a great place to raise children or settle down, but not the best if you are young and want to party hard!
