Who never watches TV?

Once or twice a week I'll turn on the cartoon, comedy or history channel. Maybe watch some South Park or Simpsons. That's about it for me.

The munchkin and I will watch sports and nickelodeon.

Other than that, I am pretty much clueless when it comes to tv. Shows will come on, and be discontinued years later, and I will have never seen an episode of it.

Bragging about how little tv you watch is like bragging about how little you masturbate. Who cares? There is nothing wrong with watching tv per se as long as you don't waste the day like that. It's about the individual programs of course. I just Tivo my favorite programs and watch them at my own convenience. Mostly lots of documentaries and a number of reality shows, plus the rare drama like the upcoming Sopranos.

madawgz 01-16-2007 12:23 PM

i watch tv at night all the time, to catch south park :)

I am an addict. And if there's nothing on TV, I'll watch DVDs. I also do needlework while I'm watching so that's how I rationalize all that waste of time.

My SIL and brother don't have a TV at their house. She invited me to visit. I said I'd stay in a hotel :) When she was in the hospital with kid #3 my Mom went up there to take care of kids 1 and 2. She was in her hotel room and wasn't even thinking until one of the kids went running to their mom that they got to watch TV in Nana's room - ooops :)

TiVo is the best ever - no commercials!!

Your missing out the new and improved american chopper debuts thursday night on tlc.
I should get paid for this.

I agree with Jim Gunn...who cares how little tv anyone watches. It would be more interesting to hear what you do besides watching tv. i usually turn off the tv in the summer so i'm not sucked in. In Canada you have to enjoy the good weather while it's around.

Himuro 01-16-2007 01:12 PM

I try not to watch it too much, it's too time consuming, but the simpsons once a week is always good for my sanity

4Man 01-16-2007 01:12 PM

I don't watch TV but i enjoy to watch some movie sometimes..

Yngwie 01-16-2007 01:13 PM

I barely watch tv.. I'm lucky if I watch tv once a week

AssPirate 01-16-2007 01:19 PM

Try catching the Wowow Channel. You will love it. It's a Japanese channel feed with lots of great movies, programs and stuff.

Martin3 01-16-2007 02:14 PM

Outside of movies and news, hardly ever. Supernatural and Heroes are the only TV shows I watch. Pretty much everything else on TV these days is just crap.

Violetta 01-16-2007 02:17 PM

I have the tv on most of the time...

drowsy 01-16-2007 02:19 PM
