icann autocomplete .xxx complaint form.
http://tools.webspacemania.com/mailbear/
I built a little email script that automatically emails icann to reject the new .xxx domain proposal I made this script before but i didnt realise you have to confirm your email. Basically what it does is picks a random email at dodgeit.com as the return address after you click send , you will be shown a link to the email inbox so you can confirm the email from icann example http://dodgeit.com/run/checkmail?mailbox=CarrereTori |
Fucking NICE :thumbsup
|
haha, man, you always come up with the weirdest shit....and by weird, I mean pretty cool
|
the dodgeit.com is a little slow to get back the icann confirmation letter so just keep the window open and click refresh to check it every few minutes until it comes..
Its important everyone complains as what ends up happening is the dudes behind the idea will sweet talk some idiot politician who doesnt use the internet into thinking this will "help protect people" |
Great tool Smokey :D
everyone reading this should take 3 minutes of their time and send their message to ICANN stating their opposition to .XXX You should rather change the subject and chose a subject that already clearly states that you're against .xxx, for example The Adult Webmaster community does NOT want .xxx .XXX = bad idea Please stop the .xxx domain Why .xxx is not the solution... we don't want the .xxx domains etc and in the body of the message you should say that (chose one or more of the arguments listed here) - noone in the adult industry wants .xxx - the guys behind .xxx - the ICM Registry - falsely claims to have our support - implementing an .xxx domain will only make the ICM guys money because many companies who don't want the domain, will still register their domains to protect their trademarks, but will not voluntarly move to them - .xxx will not protect children, especially since there are already filtering mechanisms available - making .xxx mandatory is not possible, because of Free Speech issues - no adult company will voluntarly move to .xxx because the domains will cost $70 instead of $8 like "dot com" domains - the international community - many governments - does not want .xxx - they are opposed to it from a public policy perspective - the Christian and family groups also do not want the .xxx domain etc.... or you can just write " Please stop .XXX because it will only increase the amounts of porn and double the number of pornsites!" :winkwink: |
I just emailed this thread to ICANN.
|
ill do my part.
