You guys getting a ton of "stock tip" SPAM lately?
 

I've been getting a ton of this stuff. All pushing some microcap stuff. What makes this flood interesting from the plethora of herbal, university, and other crap is that the subject lines are very very weird -- just weird combos of words. The body is the same, just a jumble of text sourced from, obviously, differing sources. AS IF, people would OPEN much less read this shit...lol, I guess they are using the "only if one in a billion......" tactic. :1orglaugh

TONS of it; most of it started after signing up with a casino crosspromotion awhile back; how do I know? This is the first, and only one I placed this name/contact into. However, I'm too lazy to find out who they are and bounce everything back to their mailserver, c/o their administrative, abuse, etc staff. :)

Interesting you mentioned this. I only started getting this shit after doing manual submits to link directories as part of an SEO package for a client. Gonna be hard to track since we submitted to over 600+ sites. :( :helpme :mad:

i was getting thousands of those, all to various aliases on my domain name. Finally I had to block all but one alias name and it pretty much contained it.

im getting like 200 a day used to get 20 a day seems everyone is spamming stocks nowdays and its all the same spammer and the shit gets thru outlook filters also :(

Yep. I noticed that shit. Clever way to get around duplicate content detectors at the email server level. I wouldn't be surprised if the body is hotswapped on the fly as well (in addition to being sourced from differing sources). The only thing constant is that .gif of the stock performance and stock symbol.

The body is generated using a Markov (Chain) engine
