This is a heads up to anybody else who may be thinking of doing business with this guy ...

finalcut2 contacted me by ICQ, and after a breif conversation, he gave me 2 links of pages he wanted translated ...

The first link opened a page with a blur console ... I soon found out that the blur console auto installed a dialer onto my machine (droppay.exe) which tried to auto dail on about 3 minute intervals, except zone alarm told it to fukk right off ...

I told finalcut2 to do likewise ...
auto installing an autodialing dialer on a potential business client is not kewl ...

that's bad, i didn't have any intention to translate a dialer as i said, maybe some paysite or partnership page. Don't count on me though for any translation now.

You are eithier and idiot or a liar. Actually, it appears that you are both. The UK dialer I showed you complies with all applicable laws, ICSTIS and Oftel regulations.

It does not auto download. The user MUST accept a verisign cert. before downloading.

It does not auto dial. The user must accept the terms and conditions after accepting the Verisign download in order to have the dialer work. In fact , the dialer cannot have any calls more than 12 mins in length to comply with ICSTIS regulations.

As for you other stupid complaint , you are obviously confused with the dialer checking with the server for profile information. That would have alerted your zone alarm as the dialer is checking back - but no way is the dialer attemtping to conect a premium rate network at that time. (as this would be illegal)

If you have a prob , report your complaint to ICSTIS so they can tell you I have a stamp of approval and I follow the rules. If not, fuck off and take your unfounded slander somewhere else as it is totally uncalled for....

Just outta curiosity, why didnt you just go to one of the many translation websites that are available, and translate the bitch yourself, finalcut2?

I mean, it took me all of 3 minutes to search for and find an English to Greek to English Web Page Translator!

you can't use a program translator and expect to get a single client because the results will be neither non understandable or funny. All these translators are good in order to get a clue if possible about some page, but you shouldn't use them for any work.

I have a much more inportant question... Any Greek girls out there? I think that is a much more appealing thing to seek out than a greek translation of a website. Mmmm.
