You should be looking into LLC, INC or something to that effect. DBA ($25) is something simple for small business. Also satisfies the bank. I did that when I first started, but have since formed LLC's ($500).

Better to be safe than sorry.

Ofcourse you could do under your own name as proprietory business, or you could resiter a business name (that would still be propietory) and should do that til you figure out if you can actually make money (everything that glitters is not gold, what seems easy money may not be, there's no get rich quick scheme anywhere for instance so you get cheap viagra from somewhere but where you getting the traffic to sell it to? spam? if spam, you run in the danger of getting locked up) but once you have a decent income just incorporate yourself. When you are propietory and someone sues you for some reason they can take all your business and personal belongings but when you are a inc. they can only take the properties or asset under your inc.'s name ie. by incorporating yourself you create a entity separate than yourself. lawyer is not necessary to inc. either you can just find yourself a cheap accointant who can do it for you or do it yourself at the biz reg office.

Oh brother...you want to sell pharmaceuticals out of your home on the Internet without opening up a company? marco...you do know that viagra is a prescription drug right? You could be charged with trafficing in pharmaceuticals if you are selling it without the people have a prescription. Are you prepared for that?

marco33 01-15-2007 08:18 PM

ok sounds good. and i kno that finding cheap viagra isnt gonna make me rich. im plannign on bringing traffic as well. plus would i need a licence to sell prescription drugs such as viagra

marco33 01-15-2007 08:19 PM

wyldbliss, so if they have a prescription, then it is legal for me to sell to them?

marco33: It's clear you need a lot more education into corps and legalities before jumping into the swamp. Knowing the laws of your country of residence would be a good start - then dumping a few K on a lawyer re the rest. But... seriously, don't waste your money - forget the idea.

marco33 01-15-2007 09:49 PM

kk ill forget it. sounds too much legal stuff.

skillfull 01-15-2007 10:45 PM

yeah, better safe than sorry to have Booba as your cellmate ;)

bdld 01-16-2007 04:25 AM

if you dont want to go through the trouble of creating a business or getting legal advice, then you're probably not that serious about your ventures.
