I dont think its silly i thinks a great idea, but expensive. They have banners going for $60. The good bit is that you choose the banner you like out of many styles. The bad bit is the price and that the quality isnt always great.

That said A French Rose is involved and their designs rock imo.

Kermey whoever starts the contest, chooses how much they would pay for the contest. Of course there are minimums, to make sure designers are compensated and you get plenty of variations to choose from.

Many people on this board have been taking advantage of the service, and in my opinion it's proven to be a great service to the community.

Sorry you mis understand. I had a good look as im looking for a designer now. I know the client sets the price, but why is a designer going to build say banners at $20 when they may not win? The client has to make the prize worthwhile or no one will enter. But i can get great banners for $20. Whats a boy to do?

My question (and the reason im not going to post a project) is: what happens if i dont like any of the designs? Can i pull out?

It is a great idea and with more clients posting and more designers entering, i think it has a great future - im not dissing it honest.

If there were many more designers (increasing my chance of getting a great design that i can use) then id consider posting it.

i hope i can enter in one of those contest later. :thumbsup
