i play poker but i am dam bad.

I do. I'm pretty good (win about half of the tourneys I enter on 2bet) but I prefer playing at the casinos to online as I'm pretty good at reading people.

It's all about the pot odds. Once you learn how to read the table you're much better off.

I have a trophy from the Bellagio sitting in front of me right now, but I just can't figure out how to stay ahead online. I get sucked out on like crazy, almost always get my chips in with the best hand, and still manage to lose. I'm starting to think all online sites (except 2bet) are rigged.

Yeah, you get sucked out on a lot more often online because your playing against worse players. And even if they have a 20-30% chance of hitting they are gonna hit it now and then. Of course your brain remembers all the times they do hit and forgets the times they dont. If you only play when the pot odds are in your favor you will make money online. Thats why the bots clean up.
