I don't understand why people hate on the contest participants so much. I send a great amount of sales to various sponsors and will ALWAYS participate in a contest if/when they have one. It's fun and you would be stupid to deny free extra money.

If you look at the contest threads, most of the people in it aren't sending traffic or even in normal conversations on the board. You'll find tons of people you've never seen post that have 10k+ posts. I think some come from smaller countries where the prize money is a lot.

Why because 99% of them are useless post bots.. Go look at a few of the post on this # contests.. They are nothing but bots. If any normal webmaster wanted to try to win he wouldn't have a chance.
