Recommended Television Shows (to download)

I don't have cable or anything so I download all of my TV, which is just fine for me with my shitty little divx player and a dvd burner. What are some good television shows that are good that I may not have seen yet?

I'll start off.. I recommend each of these shows, in no particular order:

Dexter
The wire
tom goes to the mayor
lucky louis
heroes
lost
prison break
the mighty boosh
the office (us and uk)
entourage
weeds
curb your enthusiasm
carnivale
venture brothers
squidbillies
moral oral
aqua teen hunger force
league of gentlemen
perfect hair forever

I'll think of more later...

Add to the list. Don't list wack shows.

If you like weird cartoon, the old Duckman stuff is full camp to the last.

If you want to learn more about Canada, see if you can find "this hour has 22 minutes' or "the rick mercer report".

If you really want to learn more about Canada, download "the trailer park boys".

donkevlar 01-14-2007 12:56 AM

I usually use mininova for torrents.

Scrubs? Come on.. Family guys way too obvious.

Those 2 canadian shows aren't funny.. No one cares about Canadian Politics humor.

Trailer Park Boys is the shit though!

Even if you're not a sci-fi geek the new Battlestar Galactica on Sci-Fi Network is the shit. It's not so much a remake as it is a retelling of the original with some really good new twists. The original was highly successful but was canceled after one season due to skyrocketing costs of over 1 million dollars an episode, which was a shit load in the late '70's (and maybe even today, but I have no clue what the average per show budget is for a typical series). If you can't download they are running a marathon of this past season on Sci-Fi on Januray 15th.
