someone help me, im being hacked!
 

i keep getting my firewall warning that someone from IP 207.155.183.72 is trying to access my computer. How do i go about finding out who this is...i did an ip whois and found out its pakipalace.com? Can anyone help?

Are they just port scanning?

they could be, but i have gotten the same message 18 times in the last 10 minutes...it says firewall has blocked internet access to 207.155.183.72 (DNS) from my computer.

I know I am not the only one... if you have a machine that sits online more than 5 hours a day, your ass is gonna get port scanned or probed to see if you are running specific services. Its just bots and scripts out there doing it. Dont think some evil Russian kid is sitting at the other end of the line trying his hardest to get into someone from Oregons AOL account.

And even if it does get in your machine, the bot is just gonna install another program to scan other peoples machine. And so the cycle continues.

Hacking is automated now son.

I must get scanned 100 times a day. It just comes with the territory. If your online, your ass is gonna get probed, thats just the way it is.

You should see how many times a day one of my servers gets probed, its absurd.

Dude I get no less than 300 attempts a day on this network, Adelphia has port scanners hitting non stop. I am just glad this fucking thing doesnt make a *ding when someone probes me. Everything from NetBios probes to Scanning every port available.

It happens man, just look for repetition, most of the time its just a scan, you are not being targetted and as Labret said, "Automation" is a factor now, too many kiddies saw Hacker and love Jolie - so scanning aint shit.
