What size pixels should pictures be?
 

Hi

Is there a standard pixel size within the industry for models pictures? My photographer is editing some pics and needs to know the dimensions of the biggest side of the pics should be in pixels.

I assume that a picture should fit the whole page when it is opened in the browser? Am I right?

not sure if there's a standard but the content I buy is usually 1024/875 or 1280/960 etc so I guess more than 1000 pixels on the longer (wider) side

i still own some gigs of 800*600 content but nowadays 1024* is at least recommand

newer fotosets come along up to 1600 resolution
