I just looked at my stats and at some point this month I recieved one of those 500.00 give away thingies they have.
You really can't beat a pleasant surprize from a sponsor like that.

Oh, and I'd be embarrassed to admit the small amount of signups I do with them. So don't think they are rewarding a bigshot.

Of their affiliates, Mamma.com doesn't list adult content, nobody searches for porn on CNET, and there was one more they mentioned but I forget..

I don't consider it spam and you shouldn't either.
You do business with them, they're letting you know what else they have going.

I'm sorry, do they own Kanoodle? There was a refcode, so I was assuming it was just a shameless attempt at promoting another company through their webmaster e-mail database? That's all I was saying.. Which I wouldn't have a problem with -IF- I didn't think it was a poor buy for an adult webmaster.

Case story, I bought a $25 account with ValleyAlley.com (similar PPC) a few months ago and signed for top position on quite a few very general sex terms like "sex" and I don't think I've blown through $10 in 2-3 months.. Hardly a good deal? Since they were promoting Mamma.com in the e-mail, which SPECIFICALLY does not list adult content.. It just seems like they're promoting something of little to no value to an adult webmaster?

That, sir, is what I took offense to. I might even sign up for Kanoodle if their results are displayed at other sites, and if I did I would use their refcode just to be nice..

this is not shameless attempt,they sent a newsletter and that's all, don't tell me it's the only sponsor that sends you similar newsletters. This time i have to agree with 12clicks.....

kanoodle..a good friend was using it for getting paid for the searches,they didnt pay him for a long period as they should, but they gave him the amount in bids...at the end he made more money, but this was because of his skills. PPC are the easiest way to blow your money if you do not know what you do.
