17% of these mobile home owners must be on crack
BRINY BREEZES, Florida: Residents of a coastal trailer-park town overwhelmingly approved the sale of their community to a developer for more than $510 million ? a transaction that could make most of the homeowners millionaires.
About 80 percent of the town's shareholders who voted approved the sale, while 17 percent opposed it, according to a statement Wednesday from the town's corporate office. More than 97 percent of shareholders voted. Almost every owner of the 488 trailers in the community will get more than $1 million if the sale goes through. |
If I sell my trailer where will I cook my meth?
|
who the fuck would vote against that?
|
How much does it cost to buy a real house there?
LOL, idiots. |
Some of the residents were no doubt already millionaires, or old people who just didn't wanna move. 1 mill isn't a lot of $
|
WOW, lucky bastards, why doesn't the same thing happen in my trailer park? :(
|
Business opportunity for someone. You could probably go to the homes of those 17% and offer them a pickup truck and a double-wide somewhere else for their mobile. Probably be a taker somewhere. Bring paperwork. Bound to catch someone high enough to do it.

Why sell anyways. They only need like two thirds or so for the developer to go. I personally would not sell even if I was poor. I figure if you hold out your price will sky rocket. Eventually some new condo owner would get sick of seeing my mobile sitting there and offer me a shit load more to move.
Oh and I would take out good insurance to boot. |
