Mainstream Idea that could change the world what do you think?

Build some kind of Lie detection box the size of one of those breathalyzers. That connects to your pulse and also using voice recognition software.

This way you can whip it out any time and ask your girlfriend if she really is happy or if she cheated on you. Or ask a sponsor if they shave etc.

This could change the world!

The problem is people don?t really want to know the truth.

RogerV 01-10-2007 02:17 PM

Imagine a world filled with no Lies

Brad 01-10-2007 02:19 PM

I'm not sure I would want to live in that world.

EscortBiz 01-10-2007 02:21 PM

plenty of ways to know the truth if a girl is cheating, like you said most dont wanna know

I like that line from ronnin "when in doubt, there is no doubt"

eZe 01-10-2007 02:23 PM

lol thats too funny.

I totally agree. Why dont you think people want to know the truth?

collegeboobies 01-10-2007 02:27 PM

We put the blinders on as a form of self preservation.
Some truths just hurt too much to accept, but it will always come out eventually once we are ready to face it.
However, the longer the lie carries on, the more it hurts in the end and the less likely it is that the damage will be able to be repaired.

Actually there is a Lie Detector software for a Nokia cellphone
not sure why it doesnt work on more phones..

newbiz 01-10-2007 03:16 PM

Divorce and murder rate would go up!

Kill your spouse or girlfriend?
Recently divorced because of the lie detector?

We can help call the Law Offices of Roger V Esq.
We want to make you a porn star!

AHAHAH

Maybe people would lie less but I agree there might be some fatal catastrophes in the beginning

SleazyDream 01-10-2007 03:26 PM

i like lies :2 cents:

makes thing interesting

DaddyHalbucks 01-10-2007 04:02 PM

Voice stress analyzers and body language can be used to detect lying.

Add in a lie detector machine, and the accuracy is very high.

starpimps 01-10-2007 04:29 PM

not viable in court tho, otherwie whats the point...to catch one of your boys in a lie?

Scootermuze 01-10-2007 05:03 PM

Here ya go...

notabook 01-10-2007 07:29 PM

Since the accuracy of polygraph is subpar, a 'handheld' machines accuracy would be abysmal at best. Though such machines sell surprisingly well for the novelty factor.

ER!C L!VE 01-10-2007 07:59 PM

Damn! That could turn into a slippery slope of "Big Brother" being able to know your secrets. :) Imagine if a cop pulled you over and had one of those things and could ask you 100 questions and take you in for setting off the detector. E.G. Do you know someone who has cocaine at their home?

I agree, would be cool tho ;)

reynold 01-10-2007 08:28 PM

I would like to have that lie detection box.
