Show Thread... Which Freebies from the show do you like?
 

With Vegas coming up I'm thinking about all the Show Freebies that are usually given out. From Dvds, T-Shirts, to Caps, To Pens, To Rubber Boobs. Companies spend a good amount of money on the freebies and the reality is alot of it ends up in the hotel Garbage bins.

So my question to you guys is which Show Freebies do you like?
And Which Show Freebies do you throw away?

I like the Spa Cash Bullet and rolling papers

oh and the freeones lighter

the Python T shirt (camo) and the JBM Camo Hats

and the club redlight dvd's

and the lightspeed jerseys (but those are custom)

and I love head from Nylz

and juicy's soft touch

i like the abundant supply of free vagina

Boxer shorts are cool, haven't seen those in a while at a show.

Who gave out those? That's much better than hats and tshirts as it's much more discreet.

The thing i used the most from recent shows were the notebooks that Epassporte (phoenix) and Platinum Bucks (vegas) gave out. Lots of good ideas got written in them. I hope Platinum Dave didn't have tracking on mine lol.

I can't remember who it was, it was a while ago. I know I have seen them at least twice at shows, but probably 4+ years ago.

sex.com had a great lighter some years ago..I burned that muthafucka out...I also remember a free tit squeezie stress reliever thingy.

Don't need any freebies just a good traffic trade :) or buy my content/feeds

Giving out swag to "everybody" that walks up is a waste of time and money and is money you will not recoup. It attracts the wrong kind of customer.

Sure you will gain some affiliates doing it, but those affiliates will be newbies who don't have experience or traffic (or both) and cultivating (which is the polite way of saying holding their hands) them is too long of a process.

You would be FAR better served to do your homework before the show and know who you would like to gain as a new affiliate with both traffic AND experience and are attending the show. This allows you (since they have traffic/experience) to gain immediate sales and build a profitable and lasting relationship.

Doing something such as the LightSpeed Jersey (with their name/nickname - it shows you care) on the back will get you "seen" on the show floor when they wear the gift.

Have a quiet place you can speak to them in the corner of your booth (or better yet, your room) to give it to them and discuss what you need to discuss with them.

Giving out 30-50 Jerseys like this is so much more productive than handing out a ton of anything else.

I'm a fan of the t-shirts ( getting a nice collection now) and the Mr.Limpy's in LA where different. By the way Shap why is there NOT a Twisty's shirt in my collection? :winkwink:

Just a quick follow up so it doesn't seem like you should forget the affiliates that you currently have.....

High traffic senders - buy dinner for them and give them a jersey as well.
Low/Medium traffic senders - give them 30 days of an extra $10 per sign-up and let them buy their own lighters if they want.

Agree - At Webmaster Access I didn't even have to try girls just came up asking if I was "talent" or that "they had to request me for their next scene" (pssss, pick up lines from porn stars!) and I ended up banging 2 of them in 2 days. It was glorious.

If I remain semi-sober long enough I plan on capatilizing on the starlettes free "swag" they give me.

I got the best results from the Mobbucks Jersey's .. everyone loved them and the Tank Tops did well. The Satancash fitted hats did well also. I never get a booth ..I just give them to the guys I do biz with and want to do biz with.

I think we are part of the global warming problem considering the ammounts we gave away sofar lol

Anything Orgasm.

This year, at LAX baggage claim, it was like a Sexsearch/Orgasm love fest on the way home from Curacao (same thing in Miami at customs) -- backpacks from two years ago, tshirts, hoodies, beach bags from this year.

The backpacks are by far and away the most used swag I've seen that keeps on popping up. I'm glad mines got paint on it, so I know it's mine.

Paycom/Epoch also gives out great swag. Remember the Nike's from a couple years ago?

custom shirts for special people goes a long way.

but then you have to worry about who isn't getting one.

I also like giving out small items that will sit on someone's desk for a while.

epoch pens, too. They are a part of my daily life.

And the adam&eve mini vibes amde me some friends. :)

Of the freebies that I still have in use:

Fleshlight notepad (really good quality paper!)
Cybererotica pen (super nice weight on the pen)
AFF mug and tshirt (neener neener) :)

and yeah, that's it.

oh and I still heart my FlashCash CDs :)

Not from a show, but freebies I like:

Google photo frame. I downloaded all my Internext pics from various years. Cracks me up to look over and see random craziness.

Other google goodies - Mini Fridge, Laptop kit (mouse, anal probe, USB drive), travel mug.

I use my xbiz tall mug for a tip jar on my desk. Bottle of crystal from phoenix forum is a paperweight on my desk.

Mr Limpy has also been hanging around for a while. Lots of funny pics, but what the hell would you use it for?

Hi Elli. That sounds alot like us. I think things that are actually useful have a long life after the show.

I like all the sex , girls come up to me and give me there hotel room keys.

I love shows. My penis needs 3 weeks to recouperate after evry show.

Definitely! If someone were to come out with a branded thumb drive, that would be the bomb. Those things are indispensible. :)

The one thing that i used most from any show i have been to is the notepads. I usually end up with one in my purse to write down everyones room numbers :)

I got in a car wreck out of town on some backroads a while back, my cell phone fell out and broke and the battery went flying across the street and there was no street lights or homes or buildings anywhere around...

But I found my freeones lighter and managed to use the flashlight on it to find the pieces to my phone and get help.

Freeones saved me! :)

I got this idea from AdTech in NYC, there was a company giving away flash stick memory cards that go around your wrist and best of all, they pre-installed what their company is about and info about them on the flash stick. Its re-usable and its a great way to get your logo on the flash stick and more info on the actual flash drive.
