bogus check from Fling? DRAMA!!
 

Anybody gotten a bogus check from Fling?

Bogus as in, false routing and account number?

I dont promote Fling myself, but a friend of mine does and I'm sitting here looking at a bogus check that he just picked up from his bank with bogus routing and account numbers printed on it. I did call Fling on his behalf as was rudely told that accounting is 'gone for the day' and to try again tomorrow. Then the bitch on the phone wouldnt let me talk to someone in charge.

Fling hasnt answered emails about this from yesterday.

And really, is there any excuse on thier end for this? And for not responding to emails about it? I dont think so.

That is pretty odd. Nasty Dollars has always been one of the sponsors over the years that has paid me like clockwork. Fling I haven't had a problem with YET. But their support has always been really bad, so I'm not surprised you had problems.

and I highly doubt your calling on anyones behalf. It's cool that you promote fling too, i doubt aff will mind.

However, if you were calling on someones behalf, Just using common sense, as I know nothing of this phone call or what happened, but lets say I call bank of america for my "friend" and start asking about checks and payments, I doubt I will get too far.

because of the high volume of checks that are cut, our entire check is printed. there was a printing error resulting in incorrect aba numbers..new checks are being reissued and over nighted tomm morning. if you call and ask for kelly we can get you a tracking number if you like. if you have any other concerns ask for mo and i can assure you that you will be handled expeditiously.

I do not have at this time, and have never had an integrity problem.
If it was my check, I'd fucking say it was mine. The fact is, that its not.

Which brings me to my question, for some reason I thought the checks for Fling were coming through RK Netmedia. Is this not the case?

As I stated, we tried email and phone first. Didnt really want to bring it here but it didnt look like we were getting any answers otherwise.

Do I just ask for 'nastyman' on the phone? Is the girl that answers with 'corporate offices' going to know who I'm asking for? And when I asked for a CEO or someone else in charge, she just said I'll let accounting know you called.

Have you contacted them before running to the boards? They will sort you out.

My fling money is added in with my nastydollars money.

I signed up to hugetraffic but used the linking codes found in my existing nastydollars account instead.

I did this for more detailed tracking.

if you promote fling through hugetraffic you will get a check from globalpersonals. if you promote fling through ND it will just be added into your normal check.

This is what webmasters keep coming back to gfy for. We get more issues sorted here and more quickly than in one on one contact with sponsors.
I have payment issues dating september with one of my best sponsors and its become a real soap opera of everyone at the other end passing the buck and not wanting to know about it.
I'm still hoping i will wear them down into actually doing something about it but if all fails, I know I got GFY to help sort it.

yup, i had fleshlight screwing me around on thousands of dollars that they owed me for months, i took it to gfy and had them epass it to me within a day or 2.

Because thread titles like "Can someone from Sponsor X please contact me" usually drop into oblivion in a few minutes... :thumbsup
