I can't believe all the abuse I went thru to play sports but I'd probably do it all again because sports was everything to me in highschool/college.

Times are changing, but when I was in school the coach woud beat the shit out of a player and nothing would happen about it. They were untouchable.
The mentality of the school administration was that athletes should be tough and therefore should be able to take it.
