Affilaite Referral Bonus - How Does it Work ???
 

OK I am thinking of running one of them affiliatte bonus schemes, you know where you get $200 per signup... I know they have to qualify with so many sales... anyone know how many sign ups the referred affiliatte as to make to qualify you for the bonus ?

Also is it possible to track through CCBill ( I have emailed CCBill about this as well) just wondering how easy it is to track where referred affilaites have come from and when they hit the qualifying sales tier ?

Any examples of companies offerign such bonuses would also be appreciated :)

Watch out for the new Affilaite give away I am about to launch, after people suggesting we need a competition we decided to come up with something special... let's just say making sales on our programme at the moment will be beneficial, as those sales will count towards the competition :)

Yes, I did wonder that too. I seem to recall reading that some programs won't bonus you for referrals unless you yourself are also making sales plus your referred webmaster has to make sales. I wonder how that works for webmasters who only run resource sites or boards etc...I looked around at a couple programs with high webmaster referral payouts, but didn't see any fine print just the referral link code.

Anone else with any idea ? We currently are payign 5% for referrals anyways... thinking of increasing this to 10% anyways... but also looking at the $200 bonus idea...

My understanding is that the referred affiliatte as to make 20 sales to earn the referring affiliate the bonus... to be honest I aint worried if the referring affiliatte is making sales or not...

However wondering how I can monitor this in CCBill... or if its only possible with systems such as Nats... I would like some sort of tracking system so I get flagged every time a referred affiliatte makes the 20 sales mark... so I know to pay the referrign affiliatte the bonus :)
