na, it's easy as hell to get hired there....as long as you have a GED.

If you make it past the first 5 interviews, you're in a pretty good place to say you can get in!

treat your employers right , and they'll treat the job right
scam,cheat, ripoff off your employers and they'll do the same
all about moral in the workplace , a happy worked it a productive worker
also the fact that you aren't just dealing the the average joe m, dealing with ppl that are in demand

if u wanna work at google, you need a masters degree for them to even look at u for a good position, most schools they hire from are up there with harvard.

lets just say from what ive heard, the first interview will overwhelm 96% of y'all out there.

Not true. If you have a good Silicon Valley pedigree and haven't pissed them off you're in the running.

Now if you're talking a senior software engineering position you are probably right. I've always been ops.

Amen to that. The average interview process for the successful candidate is just over 80 hours right now (in engineering or ops, anyway).

that would be sweet id love to work there...but with my education they would probably make me the guy who has to spider posts by hand when their crawler breaks down or somethin :S LOL!!

corel as senior engineer
valinux as senior engineer
nortel as senior engineer

he designed the BIOS and firmware for its netwinder network computer

also wrote the first Linux in a PC BIOS and the first artificially intelligent network scanner.


plus much more, so you have an idea what they look for.

I would rather work for yahoo then google.Google sucks.
