Falling asleep on the couch
 

Damn this must be some middle 30's thing. I've been doing this about 4 times a week right before bed. The wife is not too happy about it. Just woke up at about 5:55am in a daze. :Oh crap

i hate when that happens to me... it's killing my back :(

I get up cranky when I do that.

I do some of my best sleeping on the couch.

Doesn't happen often, but when it does I'm always tired the next day. :(

happens to me all of the time now. my wife doesn't like it either.

I usually end up falling asleep on the couch in my office when I'm in Cleveland - I usually feel more rested as well. If it weren't for the fact that I'm in hotel rooms 70-80% of the month, I'd opt to always sleep on the couch.

My couch is evil. you can't sit on it longer than 30 minutes without getting knocked the fuck out.

why doesn't the wife wake you up and make you come to bed?

it used to be my routine when i lived alone. pass out on the couch around 4am, wake up around 8 am. check servers, head to bed till about noon. but now that i live with my gf she makes sure i get to bed most nights. though sometimes we both fall asleep on the couch.
